The site for Hollowfest is a large private property that lies about 25 miles north of Perth, Ontario. The site lies between two wetland areas on a rise surrounded by forest. The land we use is very beautiful and special. We ask that attendees treat it with reverence and respect.
Surrounding the main event field are row pines, cool, shady and perfect for tenting. If you prefer, you can sleep in your vehicle or bring a camping trailer.
The days are usually nice and warm. The nights can get chilly so bring a good sleeping bag and appropriate clothes.
Hollowest is a BYOB event. Please bring cans instead of glass.
We have a volunteer-run house kitchen. We will be selling a midnight meal on Friday, lunch and dinner on Saturday and an afternoon feast on Sunday. Vegetarian options will be available.
Hollowest is a cash-only event. There will be merch, food and crafts available for sale.
There is no electricity on site. We power everything with generators and batteries. There is no running water on site. We bring in fresh well water in multiple 125 gallon tanks. We recommend you bring your own fresh water to get you through the weekend.
There are no showers on site. But fear not, campers! Bring your swimsuit, for just down the road is the most beautiful swimming hole in Lanark County. If you must, please bring biodegradable soaps. We have multiple outhouses built on site.
Please leave your pets at home for the weekend. Although we allowed dogs to attend last year, we realize Hollowfest is not a safe and practical environment for pets.
Hollowfest happens with the support and participation of countless community members. There will be many two-hour shifts available during the festival to help with everything - parking, cooking, dishes, trash collection, merch sales and much more! You can sign up for shifts when you arrive and throughout the weekend. If you are interested in taking on a bigger role in festival preparations, please email email@example.com
